Entry Level / Lateral Police Officer - $4,090 - $5,350 Monthly - The City of Warrenton Police Department is currently recruiting for two (2) regular full-time, non-exempt, represented Police Officers and to establish an eligibility list for anticipated future positions. The Warrenton Police Department has a service population of approximately 6,000. The officers of the department are responsible for the enforcement of the city ordinances of Warrenton, the statutes of the State of Oregon and to uphold the Constitution of the United States.   Minimum requirements include: High School Diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, U.S. citizen, a valid driver’s license, ability to read and write English, and no felony convictions. College education desired but not required. Candidates must complete pre-employment testing and screening process.  Current salary range is $4090 - $5350 per month depending on qualifications, excellent benefits, incentive pay, $125 per month for intermediate cert or $200 with advance cert, +5% senior officer pay after 7-years.
