Urban Renewal Advisory Committee

WARRENTON URBAN RENEWAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE (WURAC) was established in 2008. The primary function of the WURAC shall be to advise the Warrenton Urban Renewal District and the Warrenton City Commission on all matters pertaining to the encouragement of infill, rehabilitation and redevelopment that is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Regulation adopted by the Warrenton City Commission as well as the Warrenton Urban Renewal District. 

The Urban Renewal Advisory Committee is made up of seven (7) members who shall serve a two year term. Membership is limited to those individuals who reside within the city limits of Warrenton or who own property within the city limits of Warrenton. The committee meets quarterly.
