Countywide Citizen Police Academy Announced - WPD Participating

The 2019 Citizen Police Academy has been announced and applications are being accepted. This will be the second year that the academy utilizes officers from all law enforcement agencies in the county to instruct citizens on different aspects of law enforcement. The Academy will start on Tuesday April 16th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Seaside Police Department. The Academy will run every week for the next 10 weeks at various agency locations with an added Saturday (May 18th) for firearms training.

If you are interested in attending the academy you can complete an application and turn it into your local law enforcement agency where you live. The application can be found below attached to this Press Release. Make sure you read all of the disclosures and sign them. Then turn your application into your local law enforcement agency to be reviewed.
