Auto Pay
The City of Warrenton offers two options for automatic payment of your utility bills:
Option 1: Set up and controlled by the customer on our payment website at https://warrenton.merchanttransact.com/Login This option offers the most flexibility for the customer and requires no forms to be filled out. It can be set up using an electronic check (ACH) or a credit/debit card and the payment date can be selected within 10 days of the due date. The customer can start or stop the automatic payments at any time.
Option 2: Set up by filling out a paper form and submitting that form to the Utility Billing Department. The form can be found on our website at Auto Pay Application or picked up at City Hall. This option will pull the bill balance out of your checking or savings account on the due date, the last business day of the month. It can take one to two billing cycles to take effect. If the customer wishes to cancel the Auto Pay, a cancellation form must be submitted.
With both options of automatic payments the account should be paid in full prior to signing up. Please choose only one method as signing up for both may result in duplicate payments.
