Generally, permits are required for any work intended to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, more or change the use or occupancy of a building or structure or the mechanical, plumbing or electrical systems installed therein.

The Oregon ePermitting website allows licensed contractors to apply for building permits with just a few clicks of a mouse!  In order to make the inspection process as simple and convenient as possible the Oregon Building Codes Division created a mobile App called the Oregon ePermitting App. The app is available to the public on both the Apple and Android App stores and is specifically for the inspection process after a permit is issued by a local jurisdiction that participates in the ePermitting program.

The City of Warrenton Building, Planning and Public Works Departments have adopted the State of Oregon ePermitting system. The system is available for use as of February 13, 2023. The Oregon ePermitting system allows contractors, developers, builders, and homeowners to digitally apply for many different permit applications. Please see the Building Department page here for more details

The City of Warrenton Building Department offers an online building permit application, and tracking service provided through the State of Oregon ePermitting system.  Please note that some projects may be subject to development approval prior to building permit issuance.

Contractors are able to apply for and purchase building permits for structural, mechanical, and plumbing projects, submit plans electronically, and schedule inspections all online via the State of Oregon ePermitting system.
