SW 9th St & Main Ave Construction
Weather permitting, street construction and utility work will begin at the intersection of SW 9th Street and Main Ave on 11/15/23. The purpose of this project is to widen the intersection to improve traffic turning movements, especially for school buses and fire trucks, and also to enhance pedestrian crossing. Given the narrow roadway and construction activity, including utility trenching, there will be intermittent times of signed detours for safety and to better accommodate traffic flow. The Contractor will accommodate school traffic for both morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up, to minimize disruption. Thank you for your patience as this public improvement is in construction for several weeks.
