Public Notice: Public Works Project, Safe Routes to School
Weather permitting, Warrenton Public Works will soon commence construction of its Safe Routes to School project along S Main Ave (from SW 9th Street to SW 10th Pl). This is Phase I of a multi-phase project, which will add sidewalks for pedestrian safety and accessibility, and also provide intersection and drainage improvements. Two-way traffic will be preserved along S Main; however, traffic will be shifted slightly east to provide a safe construction work zone on the west side shoulder. We appreciate your patience as this pedestrian amenity is under construction and added to our Warrenton community.
