Drive Thru open--How to place a book on hold--Video instructions
The Warrenton Community Library drive thru is now open 10-2.
If you have a computer and Internet access, you can place items on hold for pick up through our drive-thru.
We are not encouraging you to go out and about, but if you are picking up essentials, you may swing by the library drive-thru, located on the south side of the building, and pick up items you request online using our Online Public Access System.
Here are the written instructions for placing a hold:
- Go to www.warrentonlibrary.org
- Click the BLUE BUTTON that reads "Catalog Homepage"
- In the search bar, search by author, title or subject.
- When you find an item you are interested in, click the ORANGE "Place Hold" button.
- You will be prompted to put your Library card (should start with 500) and then your pin, which should be the last 4 numbers of your phone number. OR the pin you set up when you signed up for your library card.
- Once you click on an item, you may also use the "Browse Virtual Shelf" option to look at items as they appear on the shelf near that author or subject, depending on what you are searching for.
Please call us at (503)861.8156 if you have issues or need some guidance.
When your book is ready for pick up, we will either call you or email (depending on your preference) to let you know you may swing by and pick it up.
