The Warrenton City Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at Warrenton City Hall, 225 S. Main, Warrenton, Or 97146. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide the opportunity for citizens of Warrenton to comment on the appointment of a new mayor. A majority vote of the Commission shall be required to validate the appointment. The City Commission would like your input. Mayor Pro Tem Henry Balensifer and Commissioner Rick Newton have both expressed interest in serving out the term of Mayor. Citizens may comment and/or ask one question that each Commissioner will answer.
Warrenton City Hall is accessible to the disabled. An interpreter for the hearing impaired may be requested under the terms of ORS 192.630 by contacting Dawne Shaw, Deputy City Recorder, at 503-861-2233 at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting so appropriate assistance can be provided.
