Notice of Public Hearing

A public hearing will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at Warrenton City Hall, 225 S. Main Avenue, Warrenton, to give residents the opportunity to comment on amendments to the Comprehensive Plan and Warrenton Municipal Code to Adopt an Exception to Statewide Planning Goal 16 and Modify Standards Regarding Flowlane Disposal in the Columbia River.  

After holding a public hearing on December 12, 2024, the Warrenton Planning Commission voted to forward a recommendation to the City Commission to approve these amendments. Those wishing to testify on this request may attend the public hearing and submit a comment card prior to the start of the meeting. Written comments must be received no later than 4:00 PM on the day of the hearing, and may be submitted to Dawne Shaw, City Recorder, P.O. Box 250, Warrenton Oregon, 97146-0250; or emailed to dshaw@warrentonoregon.us

Failure to raise an issue in person, or by letter at the hearing, or failure to provide statements of evidence sufficient to afford the decision makers an opportunity to respond to the issue, means that an appeal based on that issue cannot be filed with the State Land Use Board of Appeals.
